From 1 April 2026 the statutory minimum wage for full-time private-sector employees is 920 gross per month — a 4.55% increase from €880 in 2025. The minimum daily wage for manual workers is €41.09.

After e-EFKA contributions (13.37%) and income tax under the 2026 scale, €920 gross corresponds to roughly €772 net per month for an employee over 30 with no children, on 14 payments. Employees up to 30 and parents take home slightly more due to reduced tax rates.

Seniority increments (triennia)

The minimum wage increases by 10% for every three years of counted service, up to three triennia (+30%). Seniority counting resumed on 1/1/2024 — service up to 14/2/2012 and from 1/1/2024 onwards counts.
